Parinirvana Stupa

Parinirvana Stupa

Parinirvana Stupa is a famous Buddhist Temple of Kushinagar called death place of Gautam Buddha. This temple was built by the Indian Government in 1956 has Buddha image lying on its right side with the head of the north. The Statue is 6.1 M long and rests on a stone couch.

Kushinagar located around NH-28 and is 52 KM east of Gorakhpur City and known as international Buddhist pilgrimage center.
